More Than a Shirt. A Celebration of Atlanta Pickleball.
This collaboration celebrates Pickleball Around Atlanta reaching 1,000 followers—an important milestone for a platform built around community, connection, and a genuine love for the game.
What started as one player’s journey back to the court has grown into a space that shines a light on Atlanta’s diverse and vibrant pickleball community. Through club visits, facility features, player connections, coaching experiences, and stories from courts across the metro area, Pickleball Around Atlanta is helping more people discover where—and with whom—they can play.
Together, Pickleball Around Atlanta and Drop & Dink created a shirt that represents the city, the sport, and the many communities connected through pickleball.
Meet Jason
Jason created Pickleball Around Atlanta to promote the sport and recognize the people who make Atlanta pickleball what it is.
His relationship with the game became especially meaningful during one of the most difficult periods of his life. After returning to pickleball in August 2024, Jason was also navigating stage 4 prostate cancer and preparing for surgery. Following surgery, pickleball became an important part of his recovery—giving him a reason to stay active, rebuild his strength, and reconnect with the community around him.
But he did not make that journey alone.
The encouragement of local players, coaches, clubs, and facilities helped Jason recover, improve his game, and develop an even deeper appreciation for Atlanta’s pickleball scene. That experience became the foundation for Pickleball Around Atlanta.
Today, Jason uses the platform to celebrate the community, share his experiences, highlight places to play, and help connect people throughout the Atlanta area through the sport he loves.

The Design Story
Atlanta Is Connected by the Game
The collaboration shirt was designed to feel unmistakably Atlanta.
The back graphic reimagines a transit-style map using pickleballs, routes, and Atlanta area codes. Each path represents a different part of the city, while the connected lines reflect the way pickleball brings players from different neighborhoods, backgrounds, and communities together.
The front features the Pickleball Around Atlanta emblem—a vintage-inspired mark that combines a classic paddle, Atlanta details, and a bold color palette rooted in the identity of the city.

The Atlanta Area Codes
The numbers 404, 470, 678, and 770 represent the broader metro Atlanta community.
The Connected Routes
The intersecting lines symbolize the players, clubs, parks, and facilities connected through the sport.
The Pickleballs
Each stop represents another place to play, another person to meet, and another part of Atlanta’s growing pickleball scene.
